Safety Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in the industrial production sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with health and safety regulations. This role will involve conducting risk assessments, implementing safety policies, and providing training to staff on safety practices. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of the workplace, including electrical stations, to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the industrial production and electrical sectors.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices, particularly in relation to electrical safety and emergency procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, especially those involving electrical equipment, to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents, ensuring they are accessible for audits and reviews.
• Collaborate with management to develop safety programs that align with organizational goals, focusing on high-risk areas such as electrical operations.
• Monitor safety performance and prepare detailed reports for management review, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in health and safety, particularly those related to electrical work.
• Promote a culture of safety and encourage employee participation in safety initiatives, especially in high-risk environments.
• Assist in the preparation of safety budgets and resource allocation for safety programs, ensuring adequate funding for necessary training and equipment.
