Overview

The Role

Job Purpose : The Chief Operations Officer is responsible for overseeing the company’s construction operations and procedures. As a key member of the executive management team, the Operations Manager manages various aspects of business operations, including project execution, tendering, cost control, and health and safety. Additionally, the Operations Manager ensures operational excellence, compliance with Saudi regulations, and alignment with Vision 2030 initiatives when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
• Work closely with the CEO and other executives to ensure alignment of business and operational strategies.
• Enhance the performance, scalability, and profitability of construction operations. Project Delivery & Execution
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure and building projects across Saudi Arabia.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators, risk management, and project health dashboards.
• Oversee all operations related to construction, project management, planning, cost control, tendering, quality assurance / quality control (QA / QC), and health, safety, and environment (HSE).
• Ensure operational efficiency across all departments and construction sites.
• Implement systems and technologies to improve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, labor regulations, Saudization requirements, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Finance to manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control.
• Contribute to financial planning and ensure projects contribute positively to margins.
• Interface with government entities, JV partners, developers, and key clients.
• Represent the company in high-level meetings, negotiations, and strategic forums.
