Technical Design Lead

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Technical Design Lead to guide and oversee the development of detailed design and construction documentation for interior design projects. This role requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team of designers through the technical phases of a project, ensuring quality, coordination, and compliance with project standards. Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of detailed technical and construction drawings for interior design projects. Ensure all drawings meet local codes, project specifications, and industry standards. Coordinate closely with design team members, site engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues. Review and support the development of shop drawings, technical submittals, and project documentation. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Ensure the integration of design intent with buildability throughout all technical stages. Collaborate with project managers and other disciplines to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical packages. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in technical design and interior fit-out documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and familiarity with local and international building codes. Strong understanding of construction detailing, material specifications, and coordination processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to lead by example and communicate technical ideas clearly to the team.
