Requirements

A keen interest in the built environment and the dedication to see projects through to their conclusion.

Main Functions

Work with the Design Principal, LDA to provide design leadership on multiple projects at the concept and schematics phase.

Have a full understanding of project scope and schedule in coordination with Project Managers.

Lead major milestone reviews with the Technical Project Architects & production teams to ensure continuity of design intent into Design Development (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD) phases.

Collaborate on providing overall leadership and mentoring to junior team members to ensure design excellence across all project phases, including conceptual, presentation, and delivery aspects.

Analyze project understandings, context, program, character, etc.

Develop design concepts towards coordinated schematics.

Follow the development of conceptual design intentions throughout the project delivery spectrum in DD / CD phases.

Support client design meetings and develop / coordinate the preparation of project presentations for external parties.

Manage multi-project tasking and coordination.
