Network Security Engineer

The Job Description

• Configure and manage next-generation firewalls (NGFW) from vendors such as Fortinet & Palo Alto and ensure SLA compliance.
• Optimize firewall performance and conduct regular policy audits and rule base cleanup.
• Assist fellow employees with cybersecurity, software, hardware or IT needs related to security.
• Support new installations / branch establishments and visit remote sites when assigned.
• Manage Efficient IP DNS security solution.
• Configure and operate DNS filtering and monitoring to prevent phishing, malware command-and-control (C2) communication, and data exfiltration.
• Configure protective DNS policies, enforcing domain reputation checks and threat intelligence feeds.
• Monitor and analyze firewall and DNS security alerts for suspicious activity.
