About the Role : Finance Manager - Project Based
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a major football event project. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience managing finances for large‑scale events or sports projects, ensuring full financial control from budgeting through to final reporting. This is a project‑based role that requires flexibility, accuracy, and a strong ability to perform under time‑sensitive conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting process for the football event project.
- Track and control project costs, cash flow, and vendor payments to ensure financial efficiency.
- Prepare and manage project financial reports, forecasts, and reconciliations.
- Provide real‑time financial insights and recommendations to project leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for financial coordination.
- Support post‑event financial closure and reporting.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Previous experience in events, sports, or project‑based financial management .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
