Job descriptionStrong knowledge of network administration (LAN / WAN, routers, switches, VPN). Experience with Fortinet or similar firewalls. Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration. Familiarity with macOS system setup and maintenance. Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, PRTG, or SolarWinds). Basic knowledge of IT asset management systems and inventory control. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills in both Arabic and English. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. The IT Specialist will serve as the primary local IT representative, ensuring smooth technical operations and providing full support for hardware, software, and network systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, proactive problem‑solving skills, and the ability to support employees efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Make informed decisions when processing device replacement requests based on technical evaluation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and service providers regarding internet or system issues.
- Provide IT support and troubleshooting for employees’ technical requests.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Manage and resolve network and server issues within the office.
- Oversee IT asset management, including issuance, purchasing, recycling, and inventory tracking.
- Maintain and monitor the Fortinet firewall and ensure network security compliance.
