Procurement Engineer / Buyer - Logistics Coordinator

Job descriptionManage procurement processes and sourcing of materials and equipment to support projects. Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve cost savings and value for the organization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance. Monitor supplier performance and maintain procurement documentation in accordance with standards. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Administration, or closely related field. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in procurement and supply activities, with extensive expertise in materials procurement for large petrochemical and heavy industrial projects. Proven track record of managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and achieving cost savings in a dynamic project environment. Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to assess supplier / vendor capabilities and negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
