Job Overview Responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers. Plays a vital role in maintaining smooth financial operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the overall efficiency of the financial team. Supports fixed assets accounting processes, tracks all fixed asset transactions, and ensures prescribed processes are followed. Requires attention to detail, effective communication, and strong financial process understanding.
Responsibilities
Assist with monthly reporting related to fixed assets, including tracking asset additions, disposals, and depreciation.
Support preparation of fixed asset-related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Monitor and review construction‑in‑progress (CIP) accounts to ensure proper classification and capitalization upon completion.
Prepare and input fixed asset-related journal entries to maintain integrity of asset records.
Ensure accurate depreciation calculations and adjustments in accordance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Respond to requests for fixed asset information from Corporate, Internal Audit, and other internal management teams in a timely and efficient manner.
Assist in performing monthly reconciliations for fixed asset‑related accounts on the balance sheet, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Provide analytical support related to fixed assets for the company.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams such as Finance, Tax, Internal Audit, and Operations to ensure accurate and efficient fixed asset management and reporting.
Perform any other duties assigned by line manager related to the nature of the work.
Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence and vigilance within departmental activities and operations.
Qualifications
Tertiary‑level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
Fresh graduate to 3 years of experience in the same or similar domain. If experienced, accountable for completion of assigned tasks and project work and has developed competence to carry out work independently.
