Field Machinery Maintenance Specialist - Saudi Nationals Only Overview & responsibilities : We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Machinery Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent, remote basis, with a focus on operations in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is exclusively for Saudi Nationals. This role oversees the overhaul of turbomachinery equipment (steam turbines, centrifugal compressors and pumps) during planned turnarounds and outages. The successful candidate will supervise on-site contractors, ensure safety and quality, and manage remote project coordination.

Responsibilities

Turbomachinery overhaul : participate in and support the full overhaul and maintenance of turbomachinery equipment during plant turnarounds and outages.

Contractor supervision support : assist in supervising third-party contractors and maintenance personnel to ensure work aligns with scope, specifications, and timelines.

Quality assurance : monitor and inspect repair and maintenance activities to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Safety compliance : uphold strict safety protocols for on-site work and compliance with local regulations.

Technical reporting : document maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities and prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations.

Remote management : manage on-site activities and communications remotely using project management tools.

Qualifications

Nationality : Must be a Saudi National.

Education : Diploma or Vocational Training Certificate in Mechanical disciplines (e.g., Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent).

Experience & aptitude :

Fresh graduates with strong mechanical aptitude and internship or foundational experience in industrial maintenance are welcome.

Candidates with 1–3 years’ experience in maintenance, overhaul, or repair of turbomachinery are encouraged to apply.

Technical knowledge : Understanding of mechanical principles, fault diagnostics, and maintenance of rotating equipment.

Supervisory potential : Ability and willingness to learn how to supervise and manage contractors and maintenance teams.

Safety awareness : Knowledge of industrial safety standards and safe work practices.

Communication : Strong English verbal and written communication for liaison, reporting, and remote management.

Location & travel : Primarily remote, based in Saudi Arabia (preferably Dammam), with willingness to travel to site locations for turnarounds and outages.

Base Location & Work Schedule : This is a full-time permanent position based in Saudi Arabia with remote working arrangement.
