QC Painting Supervisor

Overview

QC Painting Supervisor role at Saudi Pakistani Advanced Construction Company. Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and supervise painting / coating activities in the fabrication or steel plant. Ensure surface preparation and paint application meet approved standards. Verify paint materials and consumables as per project specifications. Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dew point) during application. Conduct and review tests such as Dry Film Thickness (DFT), adhesion, and holiday testing. Maintain accurate inspection records, daily reports, and quality documentation. Identify and address non-conformities, implementing corrective actions. Coordinate with production, QA / QC inspectors, and client / third-party representatives. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to painting team members. Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Industrial Engineering or related field. 5+ years’ experience in industrial painting / coating supervision, preferably in steel fabrication or heavy industry. Certification such as NACE Level II / III or SSPC is preferred. Strong knowledge of international standards (ISO, NACE, SSPC, ASTM). Good leadership, communication, and reporting skills. Location : Saudi Arabia (Dammam).
