Lead the design and validation of manufacturing processes for drive unit assembly, including stator, rotor, gearbox, and final assembly Manage capital projects from concept through launch, including budgeting, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination Lead site installation and commissioning through to handover Develop PFMEAs, control plans, and process flow diagrams to ensure quality and reliability Collaborate with product engineering to ensure manufacturability of new designs Specify, source, and commission manufacturing equipment and tooling for drive unit production Lead equipment acceptance trials (FAT / SAT) and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards Support program milestones and ensure manufacturing readiness for SOP (Start of Production) Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve product quality Apply lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer across the AME team Work closely with suppliers, integrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical requirements and timelines Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, STEM or related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience 8+ years of experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing, with a focus on powertrain and drive unit systems Proven experience in launching new manufacturing lines and managing capital projects Strong knowledge of EV drive units, gearbox manufacturing, and motor assembly Proficiency in CAD tools, simulation software, and manufacturing data analysis Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Additional Compensation and Benefits
