At Pini Group, we are expanding into the GCC with a new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and we need a senior Business Development Manager to lead growth in the region.
Responsibilities
- Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
- Develop sales and business development strategy with the management team.
- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the sales team by setting measurable objectives, monitoring progress, and reporting on a monthly basis.
- Promote the company's products / services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives and requirements.
- Maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices and payments.
- Build long‑term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Promote the company’s product range in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region; track, collect, sort, research and archive market information.
- Support project development strategy by breaking them into targeted, workable business objectives.
- Build and develop relationships with, and submit proposals to, government entities and private companies detailing opportunities for collaboration. Actively participate with the technical and project teams for tender participation, bid submission, bid pitching, presentations, marketing campaigns and brand building.
- Follow up on successful bids by maintaining stakeholder interactions during the financial close phase.
- Analyze development projects for feasibility and conduct due diligence.
- Develop and present sales development plans.
- Negotiate and close transactions.
- Attend relevant events to maintain a high industry profile.
- Benchmark and research similar or related developments.
Requirements
10–15 years of post‑qualification experience in business development.A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the engineering sector, with direct exposure to the KSA / MENA market preferred.Knowledge of project bidding (RFPs) and basic financial modelling skills is an added advantage.Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in fluent Arabic & English is essential.Familiarity with international business rules and experience in marketing development.Excellent deadline‑management and time‑efficiency while multi‑tasking.Team leader / player with good interpersonal communication and professional attitude.Skilled in written and oral business communications in English (Arabic is a plus).Minimum 5 years of Middle East experience (mandatory).We Offer
