Environment & Sustainability Management

• Propose and implement strategies to address environmental concerns within construction project work including energy use, conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, building and facility design, and general education on sustainability.
• Consider sustainability proposals with attention to cost-effectiveness, feasibility, and ease of integration with other programs.
• Maintain current working knowledge of and ensure compliance with all applicable local and internal environmental laws and regulations.
• Prepare required documentation for project funding for various environmental initiatives including proposals and grant applications.
• Monitor the E&S programs implementation on sites within work stages frequently, and address issues that have a bad impact on the surrounding environment for corrective actions.
• Predict the present and future of construction projects and evaluate their effect on the health of the environment.
• Develop the entire green resources of work and educate project stakeholders of its importance & impact on the work environment with a focus on sustaining these resources for future projects.
• Liaise with relevant environmental bodies such as local authorities / communities / social committees, public bodies, and competent bodies to protect the company project from bad reputation trending or legal actions.
• Communicate with the procurement / supply chain department for possible purchasing goods matching with E&S business objectives.
• Negotiate environmental service agreements and manage associated costs and revenues.
• Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders and business partners “Internal / External”.
• Identify environmental and sustainability concerns, news, and updates from collected researchers to know pest practices or any new obligations that could be applied to company projects.

10+ years of relevant experience in construction Environment Sustainability Management

LEED Green Associate, Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP) or relevant is a must
