We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Environmental Manager

to lead and oversee all environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and waste management processes at our poultry operations in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will ensure the company meets all local and international environmental regulations, minimizes its ecological footprint, and promotes sustainable practices throughout the production chain. Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), and other local authorities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national and international environmental legislation affecting poultry production. Prepare and submit required environmental reports and documentation. Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 14001-compliant Environmental Management Systems (EMS). Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure environmental performance standards are being met. Oversee the handling, treatment, and disposal of solid waste, wastewater, and other by-products of poultry operations. Implement programs to minimize air, water, and soil pollution from operations. Sustainability Initiatives : Lead initiatives to reduce resource consumption (energy, water, feed) and promote recycling and re-use where applicable. Drive projects focused on improving carbon footprint, renewable energy adoption, and sustainable farming practices. Train staff at all levels in environmental policies, procedures, and best practices. Foster a company-wide culture of environmental responsibility and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Coordination : Liaise with government agencies, environmental consultants, and certification bodies. Work closely with production, engineering, and HSE teams to integrate environmental considerations into all processes. Qualifications : Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in environmental management, preferably within the food or agriculture industry. Strong knowledge of Saudi environmental regulations and MEWA requirements. Experience with ISO 14001 or other environmental management frameworks. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage). Preferred Skills & Experience : Experience in the poultry or broader livestock / agriculture sector. Familiarity with environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and life cycle analysis (LCA). Knowledge of water and waste treatment systems applicable to poultry operations. Ability to manage cross-functional projects and interact with multiple stakeholders. Seniority level
