We are looking for an experienced Linux Expert to join our IT operations team and play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing critical Linux-based infrastructure across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and optimize Linux servers for high performance and reliability.
Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Implement system upgrades, patches, and security hardening.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and system policies to ensure compliance.
Support automation initiatives using scripts and tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable infrastructure solutions.
Troubleshoot complex Linux system issues, both independently and in collaboration with vendors.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

6–8 years of proven experience as a Linux Systems Administrator / Engineer.

Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, or other enterprise distributions .

Solid understanding of networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments .

Proficiency in scripting / automation (Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar).

Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

Knowledge of system security, compliance, and performance tuning .

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field .

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills .

Strong communication abilities with the capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Flexibility to provide on-call support and resolve issues under pressure.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to infrastructure innovation.
