We are on the lookout for a highly talented and self-motivated

zLinux Engineer

to join us on our journey in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity. We are seeking a skilled zLinux System Administrator to manage and support System z (zLinux) environments. This role involves working with zLinux and z / VM LPARs hosted on IBM Linuxone and Integrated Facility for Linux (IFL) infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Build, configure, and maintain Linuxone environment & z / VM LPARs. Perform OS upgrades and apply security patches. Execute full server builds, clones, backups, and restores using DASD and virtual tape. Manage DASD allocation as mini disks and configure logical volumes and volume groups. Configure and support NFS and Samba shared file systems. Implement and maintain sudo access with logging. Manage SSH key-based authentication and logging for SSH, SFTP, and SCP. Enforce audit and security compliance (authentication, file / directory permissions, exploit protection). Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation. Package and manage software using RPM (install, upgrade, remove). Configure and maintain SMT (Subscription Management Tool). Manage user and service accounts, including permissions and access controls. Support TSM-based file and directory backups / restores. Coordinate scheduled downtimes and perform system health checks. Troubleshoot and resolve Linuxone system issues. Monitor system performance and implement tuning as needed. Maintain user directories and auto-logon configurations. Qualifications

Total experience : Above 10 years. Relevant experience : Minimum of 6-8 years in zLinux administration. Why Us
