Our client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, and they are recruiting a Commercial Manager to join the team located in Riyadh – KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, supporting, maintaining, and updating the asset management system and procedures including implementing strategies, writing documentation and guidance, and maintaining a database to ensure the best overall life cycle costs to support the operations.
Key Tasks :
- Work as part of a bid team with regards to the development of the costing and commercial aspects of the proposal – under the direction of the Finance Director, Business Development – through the sign off and handover, with regards to all commercial aspects of the process, including pricing and identification of value pricing, commercial risks, and associated mitigation strategies.
- Be an active participant in the bid team during contract and price negotiations with the prospective customer : Understand the client business drivers for a given bid and develop an appropriate commercial solution / model, contributing to the win strategy.
- Ensure appropriate costing / estimating standards are applied to qualified customer opportunities.
- Routinely assess the work of the Solutions team regarding accuracy, work processes and that team members are providing the best input. Provide suggestions and guidance for content, functional requirements, or technical methods.
- Develop and articulate pricing and risk assumptions to the business / bid team.
- Rigorously apply the Business Development Process, including signoffs and other processes.
- Work within a matrix organization and enlist assistance and support from relevant people when compiling a price / commercial solution.
- Apply benchmarking standards and competitor analysis into commercial proposals.
- Drive standardization of approach, modelling tools, and methods across Divisions, Regions, global.
Person Specification :
