Reports to (Job – Role) : Head Engineering : Power System, R&D and Competency Development
Reportee (Job – Role) : Trainers – Electrical and Civil Engg
Minimum Qualification : B. E. / B. Tech in EEE / M.E. / MTech
Experience : 15 – 20 years, Experience in Substation Engineering & Design (AIS & GIS) up to EHV level. Exposure to International Projects is essential. Knowledge & Experience on Renewable PV Power Plant Engineering & Design (Grid Scale) is preferable
Objective / Purpose
The Candidate shall Lead the Competency Development of Engineering & Design Personnel. He shall establish Benchmark competency against the respective role and assess the current competency of each staff member personnel and identification of Gaps. Thereby he shall prioritize and impart the Training to address the competency Gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Network with Head of Engineering BU and :
Establish benchmark competency of each role.
Assess the competency of Each Staff-member respective team through a systematic Process.Identify the Competency Gap and prioritize the Training in consultation with Head of Engg.Network and develop Training Modules to train the staff-members on technical Subjects, where competency needs to be improved.Network and develop Training Modules for developing the leadership skills of Engineering personnel in collaboration with the Internal and External Stakeholders. The programs are :Induction Program – Project Engineering Managers
Induction Program – Lead EngineersNetwork and develop Training Modules for developing the Freshers in the field of Engineering and Design. The programs such as :PGET / GET Training program
DET Training programITI Training ProgramHave Domain expertise in the following areas :Substation Engineering and Design up to EHV (400kV and 765kV) covering layout engineering, associated Calculation, development of Specification,
AIS, GIS and Hybrid SwitchgearsThrough knowledge and experience in Vendor Equipment like Transformer, Reactor, EHV GIS, MV SW.GR, LV SW.GR, EHV Cables, Protection and Control System.Knowledge on equipment like STATCOM, PV Inverters, BESSKnowledge on handling the Software is CYMCAP, CDEGS, CYMGRD etc.Exposure in IEEE / BSEN / IEC Standards.Knowledge on Solar PV Power Plant Engineering and Design.Operating Network
