Overview
The 15F Electrician Instructor is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to military personnel and civilians specializing in electrical systems. This role involves designing and conducting instructional sessions to ensure proficiency in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, contributing to the operational readiness of military units.
Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development : Develop and update training curriculum for electrical systems, covering installation, repair, and troubleshooting procedures. Create instructional materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises to facilitate effective learning.
- Instructional Delivery : Conduct engaging and informative training sessions on electrical systems, including components such as wiring, circuits, and electronic devices. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, simulations, and hands-on exercises to enhance understanding and skill development.
- Assessment and Feedback : Administer assessments to evaluate trainees' comprehension and practical application of electrical concepts. Provide constructive feedback and support to help individuals improve their skills.
- Technology Integration : Stay updated on advancements in electrical systems and integrate relevant technologies into training programs. Incorporate multimedia tools and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
- Safety Emphasis : Emphasize and enforce safety protocols related to electrical work. Instill a safety-conscious mindset among trainees in all aspects of electrical installations and maintenance.
- Other duties as directed.
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in related field is beneficial.Experience :Military background with a 15F MOS or equivalent experience.In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, electronics, and associated components.Previous experience as an instructor or trainer, preferably in a military setting.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience as an Aircraft Electrician Repairer; experience supervising, inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on aircraft electrical systems.At V2X, we are committed to equal employment opportunity, including protection for Veterans and individuals with disabilities, and fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
