Senior Backend Developer – Consumer Domain, Keemart Responsibilities

Take part in architectural decision-making on a platform that is used by millions of people.

Play an active role in designing, improving and most importantly securing the overall backend architecture to support massive growth in users and products without compromise.

Coaching and mentoring other team members as a senior member of the team and member of our Backend Chapter.

We embrace Design Driven Development, SOLID Principles, Event-driven Architecture, Algorithms and automated tests (unit, integration and functional).

Understanding development lifecycle and collaborating with cross-functional and agile teams.

Showing off your code review, debugging and investigation skills on a regular basis.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in backend development using any programming language (PHP, Java, Golang, etc.)

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Knowledge of databases (MySQL and NOSQL). (You should be aware of normal forms, ACID, isolation levels, and index anatomy).

Prior experience in building and managing complex systems.

Familiar with common design patterns; proficient in mainstream frameworks such as Spring Boot, SpringCloud, Mybatis, and Thrift.

High sense of responsibility and dedication, capable of solving technical challenges while proactively focusing on business needs to drive innovation through technology.

Experience in shopping guidance, search & browse, transactions, orders, marketing, user growth, after-sales domain is desirable.

Previous experience working in the KSA-based technology that is familiar with Grocery Online.

Fluency in English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
