Lead the procurement cycle for construction projects from requisition to contract award.
- Identify, prequalify, and develop a pool of reliable construction vendors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
- Prepare and issue RFQs / RFPs, analyze bids, and recommend best-value suppliers.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules to optimize value and reduce risks.
- Draft and review contracts in coordination with the legal and technical departments.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineering, and Finance to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation in ERP systems.
- Conduct market analysis to benchmark prices, evaluate alternative materials, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (CIPS / CPP / CSCP) is a plus.Experience : Minimum of 3–5 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in construction procurement.Technical Knowledge : Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, subcontracting, and vendor management.Seniority level
