Job Description :

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Sr. Procurement Manager to join our team. In this role, you will develop and implement the Program Procurement strategy and execution plan.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Review work performed by subordinates to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Monitor productivity and technical proficiency of procurement personnel.
• Make staffing assignments and reassignments based on company and project needs.
• Manage staffing requirements and expenditures within budget constraints.
• Coordinate procurement activities with clients, project management, and other departments.
• Participate actively in the Quality Improvement Process.
• Promote technical excellence among employees and develop partnerships with suppliers to ensure quality and performance aligned with company and client standards.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ethics and conflict-of-interest policies.
• Provide training on policies as needed.
• Conduct performance evaluations, implement corrective actions, recommend promotions and salary adjustments, and support training and development for procurement staff.
• Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate.
