1–2 years in Warehouse & Inventory Management Job Purpose
To manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of spare parts in an organized, accurate, and efficient manner. Ensure proper inventory control, maintain cleanliness and safety of the store, and support maintenance and operations teams by providing timely access to required spare parts. Key Responsibilities
Spare Parts Management Receive and inspect all incoming spare parts for correct quantity and quality. Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes. Ensure accurate labeling, tagging, and location assignment of all items. Issue spare parts based on approved requisitions and ensure timely availability. Inventory Control Maintain accurate records of all received and issued spare parts in the SAP system. Conduct regular physical stock counts and random checks. Report stock discrepancies, damages, or missing items to the supervisor immediately. Monitor shelf life and ensure proper storage to prevent damage or deterioration. Storehouse Management Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment at all times. Follow safety procedures, especially when handling heavy or hazardous materials. Prevent unauthorized access and maintain confidentiality of inventory data. Coordination & Reporting Coordinate closely with maintenance and procurement departments to fulfill spare parts needs. Assist in preparing and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports. Respond promptly to urgent or emergency requests for spare parts. Provide stock records and required data to supervisors or auditors when requested. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Adhere to all internal policies, systems, processes, and procedures. Identify and suggest improvements in inventory and warehouse practices. Comply with all company and regulatory safety and operational standards. Change Management & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to initiatives for continuous improvement of systems and practices. Assist in promoting a culture of compliance and excellence in operations. Support accurate and timely preparation of departmental reports. Qualifications & Experience
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). Experience : 1–2 years in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in spare parts handling. Systems : Familiarity with SAP or any ERP-based inventory systems. Skills : Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical spare parts (preferred). Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and handle materials safely. Basic computer proficiency
