BIM Senior Manager Design Engineering

The BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering is responsible for overseeing the BIM software implementation and management across various projects, ensuring standardization of processes, coordination and maintaining quality control.

The BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering will ensure the development of effective strategies for BIM management, coordination with both internal and external project team members, alignment with project schedule (including critical and strategic milestones).

The BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering will facilitate digital project execution according to specific NEOM standards, guidelines, and practices. They will also be involved with training staff, suggesting technical solutions, and ensuring all teams are aligned with the project’s goals and compliance regulations.

• The BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering will ensure the development of effective strategies for BIM management, coordination with both internal and external project team members, alignment with project schedule (including critical and strategic milestones).
• The BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering will facilitate digital project execution according to specific NEOM standards, guidelines, and practices. They will also be involved with training staff, suggesting technical solutions, and ensuring all teams are aligned with the project’s goals and compliance regulations.
• In addition, the BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering will work closely with the relevant NEOM sectors and stakeholders to ensure accurate flow of project / BIM / digital information are communicated, managed, and delivered.
• It is incumbent on the BIM Senior Manager – Design Engineering to undertake their duties in a professional and diligent matter, always taking due care to support the required outcomes and objectives.  This includes undertaking all work activities, in a timely manner, to effectively support project timelines and formal instructions.

Key Accountabilities :

Reporting on the project state in regards to BIM implementation, data management, project software needs, and workflow integration

Experience :

Over 15 years of experience in a BIM coordination / management role in the design, engineering and construction industry

Essential skills :

Extensive knowledge in 3D modelling and cloud collaboration, clash detection tools, parametric modelling tools, presentation skills
