Accountant

Overview

Position : Accountant for a SaaS company. The role focuses on accurate daily journal entries, SaaS revenue recognition, accounts payable / receivable, and preparation of financial statements. You will support VAT and zakat compliance under ZATCA requirements and work with accounting software and Excel to provide reliable financial information for internal teams. Responsibilities

Record daily journal entries accurately and review accounting transactions related to SaaS business models (subscriptions and recurring revenue). Manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements. Assist in preparing financial statements, monthly and annual reports. Review sales and purchase transactions to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Support the preparation and filing of

VAT returns

and

zakat declarations

in line with ZATCA requirements. Work efficiently with accounting software ( Qoyod

or equivalent systems). Utilize

Excel

for reporting, financial analysis, and data management. Collaborate with internal teams to provide accurate financial information. Contribute to improving accounting processes tailored to SaaS operations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in

Accounting

or related field. 1–3 years of accounting experience . Previous experience in

SaaS

companies or subscription-based business models. Active

SOCPA

membership (mandatory). Hands-on experience with accounting software ( Qoyod

or similar ERP systems). Solid knowledge of

VAT filings

and

zakat compliance

in line with ZATCA regulations. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Professional and dynamic work environment in the fast-growing
