Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will provide direction and management for Power projects.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership : Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional project teams to meet project goals and milestones.
• Risk Management : Identify potential risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project derailment.
• Stakeholder Communication : Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership, providing regular status updates on progress, budget, and any issues.
• Quality Assurance : Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables and conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Budget and Financial Management : Monitor and control project finances, ensuring projects stay within allocated budgets.
• Problem Solving : Address project issues and obstacles quickly using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Reporting : Prepare and deliver progress reports, project success metrics, and deployment activities to various audiences.
• Mentorship : In larger organizations, a senior project manager may also mentor junior project managers and team members.
• Project Planning and Execution : Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope and objectives, create timelines, and manage resources (personnel, budget, equipment).

Required Skills

Education and Experience

Bachelor2s Degree in Engineering or related technical / business field; 15+ years of related work experience required; previous project management experience on similar or related projects.

Licenses and Certifications

Professional registration may also be required.
