Do you thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative agency environment where creativity meets strategy? VML is seeking a talented and versatile Content Writer to join our dynamic creative team in Riyadh.

As a Content Writer, you will be instrumental in developing engaging and effective copy across a wide range of platforms and client industries. You'll translate complex ideas into clear, impactful messages, helping our clients tell their stories, build their brands, and achieve their marketing objectives within the unique cultural and market landscape of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Bilingual Content Creation (Arabic & English) :

Develop and write original, high‑quality, and engaging copy in both Arabic (Modern Standard and potentially relevant dialects) and English for various marketing materials, including :

Website content (landing pages, product descriptions, "About Us" sections)

Social media posts and campaigns (organic and paid) tailored for platforms popular in KSA.

Digital advertisements (display, search, video scripts)

Email marketing campaigns and newsletters

Blog posts, articles, and thought leadership pieces

Video scripts and storyboards

Case studies and whitepapers

Presentations and internal communications

Cultural Nuance & Local Relevance :

Ensure all content is culturally appropriate, sensitive, and deeply resonant with the Saudi Arabian audience, reflecting local customs, values, and trends.

Strategic Understanding :

Collaborate closely with strategists, account managers, and creative directors to understand client briefs, marketing objectives, target audiences, and brand guidelines specific to the KSA market.

Research & Insights :

Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy, relevance, and originality of content, staying informed on industry trends, local market dynamics, and client‑specific topics within Saudi Arabia.

SEO & Performance :

Incorporate SEO best practices into content creation for both Arabic and English content to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic within the KSA digital landscape. Understand how content performs and iterate based on data.

Collaboration :

Work seamlessly with Art Directors, Designers, UX / UI specialists, and developers to ensure copy and visuals are integrated and deliver a cohesive brand experience.

Editing & Proofreading :

Meticulously proofread and edit all content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, and adherence to brand style guides in both Arabic and English.

Conceptual Development :

Contribute to brainstorming sessions and conceptual development, bringing fresh ideas and creative angles to projects.

Project Management :

Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced agency setting.

This role will be on the client side under a Vision 2030 client (PIF Company)

Qualifications

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Creative Writing, or a related field.

Language Proficiency :

Fluent in both Arabic (written and spoken, with strong command of Modern Standard Arabic) and English is essential.

Experience :

2-5 years of professional content writing experience, preferably within an advertising, marketing, or digital agency environment, with demonstrable experience in the Saudi Arabian market.

KSA Market Knowledge :

Deep understanding of Saudi Arabian culture, consumer behavior, social media landscape, and market trends.

Portfolio :

A strong online portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples across various formats and industries, ideally including examples of high‑quality Arabic content.

Exceptional Writing Skills :

Impeccable grammar, spelling, punctuation, and a keen eye for detail in both languages.

Adaptability :

Proven ability to write in different styles and tones for various brands and target audiences.

Strategic Thinker :

Ability to understand marketing objectives and translate them into compelling content.

Collaborative Spirit :

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.

Organizational Skills :

Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Digital Fluency :

Familiarity with digital marketing channels, content management systems (CMS), and basic SEO principles.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience with A / B testing content.

Understanding of UX writing principles.

Experience writing for specific industries prevalent in KSA (e.g., government initiatives, automotive, finance, retail, entertainment).

Familiarity with local media landscape and popular digital platforms in Saudi Arabia.
