Overview AtkinsRéalis are looking for a degree qualified Sitewide Project Director (Construction) with over 20 years of experience for a giga mixed-use project based in Riyadh, which encompasses public realm, urban infrastructure elements, high-end mixed-use and cultural assets. This person must be forward thinking and experienced in running large, multi-disciplined site teams within KSA.

Structural Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all structural engineering activities for the transportation project during the pre-construction and construction phases. Experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and railway projects is required. This role is crucial for ensuring the construction meets all safety, quality, and structural standards are met.

Requirements The Sitewide Director will be a qualified professional who is currently working at Director Level and is capable of providing planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects. They must have a minimum qualification BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent, have Chartered status and more than 20 years experience with 7 years being similar to this project / role.

The Sitewide Director will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing AtkinsRéalis reputation with our clients and developing effective long term client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.

A qualified professional who is currently working at Director Level and is capable of providing planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects.

Must have a minimum qualification as BSc, BEng or equivalent. Advanced degree and Chartered status are preferable.

20 years+ experience with 7 years being similar to this project / role within KSA.

Experience with large scale construction operations, management of multiple contracts, particularly enabling works, infrastructure, landscape and public realm highly desirable for this mega project in addition to building assets.

Highly articulate, experienced in reporting and communication to senior executives.

Maintain and enhance AtkinsRéalis reputation with our Clients and develop effective long-term Client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.

Excellent knowledge of construction techniques as well as project controls procedures, quality and health & safety.

A well-rounded profile, comfortable with planning, analysis and managing process and commercial considerations. The candidate should mobilise people and teams and drive for successful delivery.

Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with Clients and internally.

Principle Activities

Manage a multi-functional site supervision and PMC / Construction Management team responsible for delivering a large number of varied mixed-use, cultural assets, commercial and infrastructure projects in accordance with the Client’s requirements.

Manage key stakeholder interfaces which will include all departments within the Client organisation as well as other government departments.

Overall construction management and control.

Monitor contractors for compliance with their contractual responsibilities.

Monitor progress of the construction for compliance with schedule.

Ensure delivery of projects to time, cost and quality and ensuring highest standards of Health & Safety are achieved.

Ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and to maximise opportunities.

Must be forward thinking and experienced in running large, multi-disciplined site teams.
