The GSE Maintenance Motorized Supervisor is responsible for the oversees maintenance, repair, and operation of motorized Ground Support Equipment (GSE) within the airport environment. They lead a team of technicians, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. The Motorized Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of motorized GSE maintenance while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise a team of GSE maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for motorized GSE vehicles and equipment, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimal disruption to airport operations.
- Collaborate with other GSE maintenance teams, departments, and external vendors to optimize resources, address maintenance needs, and support airport ground operations.
- Oversee troubleshooting efforts for motorized GSE systems, assisting technicians in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, industry standards, and organizational policies in all maintenance and repair activities.
- Develop maintenance schedules, procedures, and checklists to prevent breakdowns, extend equipment lifespan, and optimize maintenance efficiency.
- Generate reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and resource utilization to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Enforce safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies in all maintenance activities, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the handling of hazardous materials.
- Strong knowledge of motorized GSE systems, diagnostic procedures, repair techniques, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, technical manuals, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for maintenance planning and reporting.
- Preferred previous experience in supervisory role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a focus on optimizing maintenance processes and enhancing equipment reliability.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to aviation ground support equipment maintenance and operations.
Qualification :
