About the role : Amazon's Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) team is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment and delivering great experiences for our customers is top priority. FOAA is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to support our Amazon Music team. You will work in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments, designing, creating, managing, and using large datasets to answer business questions. You should be able to translate business requirements into reporting solutions and build stable, scalable, low-cost data flow from production systems into the data warehouse and end-user applications. You will communicate effectively with business customers and stakeholders at all levels and drive insights that inform decision-making.

This person will own the production and delivery of a suite of analytics reports and dashboards used by the organization to make key business decisions. Responsibilities include delivering standardized performance metrics for global customers (Vendors) and stakeholders (Amazon Music), partnering with the existing BI leader on a defined roadmap, providing ad-hoc SQL report support, debugging report issues, and communicating status updates to stakeholders. You should be passionate about bringing large datasets together to answer business questions and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of standardized performance metrics for global customers (Vendors) and stakeholders (Amazon Music) to support business partnering initiatives.
• Partner with the existing BI leader to execute the defined roadmap of projects.
• Provide ad-hoc support to Amazon Music finance and business services for SQL report creation, modification, and optimization.
• Debug report issues, unblock workflows, and communicate with other teams and stakeholders with regular status updates.
