Rosewood AMAALA is seeking a Chef de Cuisine – Steakhouse & Grill to lead the culinary operations of its specialty steakhouse, focusing on premium meats, grilling excellence, and a refined dining experience aligned with the brand’s luxury standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the steakhouse & grill culinary operations. Design and implement menus highlighting premium meats, grills, and accompaniments. Ensure consistent quality, flavor, and presentation of all dishes. Source and manage premium meat suppliers to guarantee product excellence. Train, mentor, and inspire a team of chefs and cooks to deliver exceptional service. Control kitchen operations including food cost management and inventory control. Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards. Play a key role in pre-opening activities such as recruitment, training, and kitchen setup. Qualifications
Minimum 8–10 years of culinary experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role in a luxury steakhouse or grill concept. Deep knowledge of butchery, grilling techniques, and premium meat handling. Pre-opening experience in ultra-luxury or lifestyle brands strongly preferred. Proven leadership and mentoring skills in managing multicultural teams. Strong organizational and financial management skills. Culinary degree or equivalent qualification required. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage. Employment details
