We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager - Technology Procurement to oversee our technology purchasing strategies. In this role, you will harness your procurement expertise to ensure the acquisition of cutting-edge technology that meets the diverse needs of our projects while optimizing cost and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Procurement Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies for technology-related products and services that align with Qiddiya’s objectives.
- Lead the sourcing process, including working closely with suppliers, conducting RFPs, and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Conduct market analysis to stay informed of technology trends and proactively identify supplier opportunities.
2. Management of Vendor Relations
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with technology vendors, ensuring performance meets Qiddiya’s quality and service standards.Facilitate regular reviews and performance evaluations of suppliers to promote improvement and accountability.Resolve conflicts and conduct debriefs with vendors as needed to ensure ongoing collaboration and support.3. Financial Management and Reporting
Monitor procurement budgets specific to technology expenditures and align them with the organization’s financial objectives.Prepare presentations and reports for senior management on procurement activities, cost savings achieved, and forecasted needs.Implement strategies to reduce costs while increasing value through technological advancements.Requirements
7-10 years of experience in technology procurement, contract negotiation, or a related field.A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline; Master’s degree preferred.Appropriate certification such as CIPS or other relevant qualifications will be considered advantageous.Proven ability to lead procurement activities within a large-scale project or organization.Exceptional negotiation skills with a clear understanding of contract terms and supplier agreements.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions.Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency in English is required, with Arabic being a plus.Experience in a multicultural environment and deep understanding of regional suppliers and markets is preferred.Benefits
