CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

Qualifications :

Mechanical Diploma Holder

Key Skills :

Must have experience in working in sheet metal products such as Cabinets and Lockers.

Minimum 2 years' Experience in a reputed company working as a LASER / CNC Press Brake Operator.

Experience in working with LASER & CNC Machines such as CNC Turret Punch, CNC.

Waterjet and CNC press brakes and panel bending machines.

Must have experience in troubleshooting on machine breakdown scenarios

Must be able to read and follow Machine Maintenance Manuals

Thorough experience in AUTOCAD Software is a must.

Must be able to read Production Drawings.

Written and oral proficiency in English Language is a must.

Must have team work and leadership skills.

Must be able to lead multinational team of workers.

To be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Description : 1.

Operate LASER / CNC Press brake machine as per standard operational procedures.

2.

Select appropriate cutting parameters as per recommended type of material and thickness.

3.

Make nesting drawings suitable to be uploaded to machine in DXF format.

4.

Optimize laser cutting and bending program to carry out the cutting and bending process efficiently.

5.

Estimate Time and Man hours required for both cutting and bending process using machine.

6.

data to advise management for upcoming prospective jobs.

7.

Maintain Daily Production Log Book.

8.

Carryout routine preventive maintenance and maintain log book.

9.

Overlook the stock of consumables and spare parts required for the machine.

10.

Respond immediately to breakdown and arrange for repair.

11.

To be able work under heavy work load at certain times.
