Chief Accountant

A very large five star hotel chain and amusement park chain requires a Chief Accountant. The Chief Accountant will be responsible for the management of daily operations for a variety of business services, including finance, budget, and grant accounting, as well as the administration of policies, personnel, planning, and purchasing. The Chief Accountant will : Analyze and review financial data, preparing financial statements and reports for both internal and external purposes. Establish performance standards and conduct evaluations. Take responsibility for all financial activities of the company. Prepare profit and loss statement reports for each sales, administrator, and manufacturer. Maintain local banking relationships, including negotiating facilities agreements and ensuring that activities are carried out within planned time frames and in context with general financial plans, targets, and interests. Prepare cost centers by analyzing costing per product and its effect on Profit and Loss Accounts, controlling inventory. Compile monthly financial statements, expenditure analysis, and budget control to ensure transparency within departments. Authorize payments and monitor other expenditures, reporting major variances. Assess financial reporting systems, accounting procedures, and investment activities, making recommendations for changes to procedures. Be responsible for total accounting functions. Minimum Requirements : At least 5 years of experience as Chief Accountant in a large organization. Excellent financial tools skills. Knowledge of basic computer financial software usage. Excellent English speaking and writing skills; Arabic speaking is a plus. Location : Information Technology and Services - Lahore, Pakistan
