Job Summary : The Groves, a distinguished fine‑dining destination, seeks a Food Photographer to capture the beauty of our menu, ambience and behind‑the‑scenes moments. The successful candidate will produce high‑quality images across digital and printed media, shaping our visual identity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the executive chef, sous‑chef, food stylists, and marketing team to plan shoot concepts aligned with The Groves’ brand identity.
- Style, arrange, and photograph dishes to emphasize texture, color, plating detail, ingredients, mood, and lighting.
- Use professional equipment and advanced lighting setups (studio lighting, continuous light, natural light modifiers) to produce high‑end images.
- Capture lifestyle shots of the restaurant environment (tablescapes, dining experience, interiors, staff interactions) to complement food images.
- Retouch and edit images (color correction, contrast, sharpening, exposure adjustments) while preserving the integrity and natural beauty of the food.
- Manage the full workflow : pre‑shoot planning, setup, shooting, backup, post‑production, and delivery.
- Maintain an efficient archive of raw and final images, with clear labeling and version control.
- Stay updated on food photography trends, visual storytelling, dining industry aesthetics, and social media formats.
- Occasionally assist with short‑form video or content (e.g., reels, behind‑the‑scenes clips) if needed by marketing.
Qualifications
Degree or formal training in Photography.Experience in hospitality, fine dining, or food & beverage branding.Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or events.Benefits
