Category Manager - Private Label

Job Description

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well-established retail group in Saudi Arabia looking to hire a Category Manager – Private Label (Saudi National). The role is responsible for driving private label growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction through effective product development, supplier management, and category strategy.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute category strategies aligned with company goals.

Drive private label product development from concept to launch.

Source, negotiate, and manage supplier partnerships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and innovation.

Monitor category performance (sales, margins, stock) and implement growth strategies.

Collaborate with marketing to enhance brand visibility and promotional impact.

Ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety, and quality standards.

Optimize budgets, track KPIs, and deliver on profitability targets.

Requirements

Saudi National (mandatory).

5+ years in Category Management, Buying, or Private Label.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.

Knowledge of product development, branding, and compliance.

Proficiency in MS Office; ERP systems knowledge is a plus.
