As a Technical Operations Engineer you will help deliver, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions. The role will focus on Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, compute, storage, and backup technologies. The consultant will work with internal teams and clients to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure. The candidate must be located in Riyadh and able to work on-site as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and manageRed Hat OpenShiftenvironments (on-premises and / or hybrid)
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshootKubernetesclusters : cluster provisioning, networking, storage integration, monitoring, scaling, upgrades, etc.
- Maintain and managecomputeand server infrastructure : performance, virtualization, capacity planning, etc.
- Maintain and managestoragesolutions : SAN / NAS, block / object storage, high availability, replication, tiering.
- Plan and managebackupand disaster recovery solutions : full / incremental / differentialbackups, replication, restore testing, business continuity.
- Work closely with DevOps or platform engineering teams to integrate CI / CD pipelines, observability (logging, alerting, metrics), infrastructure as code, etc.
- Ensure security, compliance, patching, and standard operating procedures are maintained for compute, storage, and OpenShift / K8s environments.
- Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, resource optimization.
- Provide documentation, runbooks, knowledge transfer, and training to client teams or internal staff.
- Participate in incident response / root cause analysis when infrastructure issues arise.
Qualifications Skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred).35 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or system administration.Hands-on experience withDocker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.Proficiency withLinux / Windows servers, networking, and load balancersKnowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack).Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Arabic and English fluency is preferred.What We Offer
