Description
We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Shop Engineer for our CRA Cladding Facility in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met. This role requires strong technical knowledge and leadership abilities to manage the fabrication team effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the fabrication processes in the CRA cladding facility ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement fabrication procedures and workflows to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with design engineers to interpret and translate engineering drawings into fabrication instructions.
- Conduct regular inspections of fabrication equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Manage a team of fabricators, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance skills and productivity.
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of fabrication activities, including production schedules and material usage.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.5-10 years of experience in a fabrication shop environment, preferably in CRA cladding or similar processes.Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and processes, including welding, machining, and assembly.Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.Experience with CAD software for design and layout purposes.Knowledge of quality assurance practices and safety regulations in a fabrication shop.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.Company is providing free food, accommodations, medical and transport.
