Production Manager - Shear International for MetalIndustries

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations in our steel and foundry facility. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production planning, process optimization, workforce supervision, and adherence to quality and safety standards in a high-temperature, industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the complete foundry and steel production cycle, including melting, molding, casting, and finishing
• Develop and execute production schedules in alignment with business goals and customer deadlines
• Optimize resource utilization, machine uptime, and material usage to reduce costs and improve productivity
• Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices on the shop floor
• Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.) and supervise quality control procedures
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Procurement, and Design departments to troubleshoot issues and improve operations
• Monitor and manage KPIs like yield, rejection rate, downtime, and labor efficiency
• Enforce workplace safety, environmental regulations, and emergency response procedures
• Lead, train, and evaluate production staff and supervisors
