Our client is a leading conglomerate of companies seeking to appoint a General Manager for one of their Waterproofing companies within their Building Products Division. This role has been created to enable strategic focus, optimize sales management, operations, and overall leadership. The key responsibilities include managing operations, enhancing efficiency, and driving revenue growth.

Reporting to the Sector CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for :

Leading and managing the company, overseeing an executive team and indirectly managing a team of 60 employees. Aligning team efforts to meet strategic and operational objectives across sales, production, corporate services, governance, and technical functions. Conducting market analysis to identify current and potential new markets. Managing budgets, revenue targets, and controlling production costs and expenditures. Establishing a lean and effective production process to stay competitive. Reviewing and updating strategic and operational plans. Revising organizational structure to support strategic goals. Representing the company to clients and stakeholders. Building sales pipelines to maximize production capacity for the upcoming year. Submitting monthly performance reports to the Board of Directors. Ensuring a safe working environment with minimal health and safety incidents.

Language requirements : Fluent / Excellent Arabic, Very Good English.

Additional requirements : Own a car and have a valid driving license.

Job Skills and Attributes : Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Manufacturing, or related fields with at least 7 years’ experience in waterproofing, including 2 years in GCC markets. Ability to penetrate and develop new markets for growth in a competitive environment. Proven leadership in the industry with an innovative mindset. Strong project management and workflow expertise in design, finance, production, and installation. Excellent communication skills, commercial acumen, and industry networks; ability to operate across management levels and multicultural environments. Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
