About the Opportunity
Barker Langham are seeking 2 experienced Operations / Governance Consultants to join our talented team in Riyadh.
This is an opportunity to shape the future operating model and governance structure of a ground-breaking museum, working alongside international experts and local stakeholders.
The Role
Working under the leadership of our Governance and Operational Lead and Head of Strategy and Planning, you will :
- Proactively and independently develop and implement a modern corporate governance model and operational framework
- Collaborate with legal advisors on frameworks and structures for the governance model
- Develop guiding principles for the future operating model, based on international best practices and stakeholder input
- Define a comprehensive museum-wide operating model covering :
Core functions (exhibitions, programming, visitor services, collections management)
Support services (HR, finance, legal, IT, procurement, maintenance)Back-office operations (security, logistics, infrastructure)Establish governance roles, decision-making processes, escalation protocols and reporting mechanismsDesign a modern organizational structure and develop corresponding job descriptionsLead and facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and presentations independently and collaborativelyWhat We're Looking For
Essential
Minimum 5 years professional consulting experience (ideally more)Proven experience developing operational and / or governance models for institutionsResident in Riyadh with availability to work from client offices as requiredProfessional fluency in both Arabic and EnglishConfident leading stakeholder engagement independentlyDesirable
Experience in museum, non-profit, academic or service / experience-led institutionsKnowledge of Saudi institutional frameworksContract Details
