Procurement Engineer- Fit Out

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Engineer specializing in Fit-Out projects to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement processes, materials management, and contract negotiation specifically within the fit-out sector. This role is critical in ensuring that all procurement activities align with project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with project managers, architects, and suppliers to deliver high-quality fit-out solutions that meet our clients' needs. Responsibilities : Develop and implement procurement strategies for fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality of materials. Prepare and manage procurement documentation, including requests for proposals (RFPs), quotations, and contracts. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions while maintaining quality and compliance. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials without overstocking. Coordinate with project teams to ensure materials are delivered on schedule and meet project requirements. Review and approve supplier invoices and ensure accurate payment processing. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to foster collaboration and resolve any procurement-related issues. Conduct regular audits of procurement processes and supplier performance to ensure compliance with industry standards. Provide training and guidance to junior procurement staff on best practices and procurement policies. Preferred Candidate : Proven experience in procurement engineering, specifically in fit-out projects within the construction industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier capabilities and make data-driven decisions. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and conditions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality assurance and compliance. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of local regulations and standards in the Saudi Arabian market. Ability to work independently and proactively identify procurement opportunities and challenges. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
