Safety Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and health of our workforce and the surrounding environment. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations. Your expertise will help us create a safe working environment that minimizes risks and enhances productivity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement safety programs and policies to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Perform risk assessments and safety assessments to evaluate potential hazards in the workplace.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and procedures to ensure their understanding and compliance.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with management and employees to develop safety goals and objectives.
• Maintain safety records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in safety regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders regarding safety matters.
