Principal Geoscience Specialist

Principal Geoscientist collaborates with all technical teams to ensure excellence in exploration programs. Responsible for developing and designing methodologies and SOPs. Ensures ongoing team development in geological understanding (mineralogy, structure, etc.) as well as training in modern exploration methods.

Solves geological problems in properties by working through Maaden field camps.

Works through all Maaden exploration camps and assists / mentors all geologists in the field.

Qualifications and Experience

• Broad exploration experience in at least two different terrains with significant knowledge of at least three commodities, and understanding of an additional two or recognition in a single commodity or exploration process.
• Multicontinent experience.
• Sound commercial skills and feasibility study experience.
• Ability to commercialize technical expertise.
• Wide experience and knowledge of applied exploration techniques.
