Job Description
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for operations, people, and continuous improvement?
We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead our facility toward operational excellence — ensuring safety, efficiency, and world‑class service every single day.
What You’ll Do :
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff, creating a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Conduct weekly team huddles and 1 : 1s to drive alignment, engagement, and clear objectives.
- Set and implement annual operational goals and KPIs for warehouse excellence.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and professional facility in line with Expeditors’ global standards.
- Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse and IOC (Inventory Operations Center) activities, including receiving, shipping, container positioning, and inventory accuracy.
- Plan and manage budgets for staffing, overtime, equipment, procurement, and maintenance.
- Ensure all equipment and facility infrastructure are operational, safe, and compliant with certifications.
- Promote continuous improvement to optimize safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Manage staffing to meet fluctuating demands with a flexible, skilled workforce.
- Oversee onboarding and cross‑training to build a versatile and capable team.
- Ensure full compliance with Expeditors Operational Process Standards, government regulations, and audit requirements.
- Drive warehouse excellence KPIs and execute tactical business plans.
Qualifications
What You Bring :
4+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics leadership.Strong communication, leadership, and emotional intelligence skills.Proven ability to lead change, problem‑solve, and think strategically.Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.Strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational performance.Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.).Experience with certifications, audits, and warehouse improvement initiatives.A track record of delivering operational excellence in a fast‑paced environment.Additional Information
