provide strong leadership to the department; collaborate with collegiate leadership; faculty development and mentorship; maintain close cooperation with other departments; maintain an independent or collaborative research / scholarship program; actively participate in service activities at the collegiate, regional, and national levels; maintain an active involvement in the clinical / didactic teaching efforts of the department in Periodontology at the Pre / Doctoral levels; actively participate in the departmental faculty practice plan; cultivate an environment of inclusion and respect for students, faculty, and staff with the department and the college.
