We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Associate – Accounting / Audit for a contractual assignment in Saudi Arabia with one of our valued clients. The role involves performing accounting, financial reporting, and audit-related functions while ensuring compliance with international accounting and auditing standards. The ideal candidate must be a Qualified ACCA with proven experience in financial and management reporting and the ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable local regulations.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of accounting records and supporting documentation.
Perform variance analysis, reconciliations, and management reporting as required by the client.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Audit & Assurance Support
Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audits in line with professional standards.
Review client financial data, evaluate internal controls, and identify potential risks or discrepancies.
Prepare working papers, audit schedules, and evidence for review by senior management or external auditors.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to improve processes and compliance.
Client Engagement & Coordination
Liaise directly with client representatives in KSA to understand requirements and deliver accurate reports.
Maintain professional relationships with client finance teams and auditors to ensure smooth collaboration.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure adherence to IFRS, auditing standards, and internal control policies.
Identify opportunities for improving accounting systems and processes.
Support implementation of audit and financial reporting best practices.
Qualifications & Skills : Education :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Certification : Qualified ACCA (mandatory).
Experience : Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing preferably in an audit firm.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in financial and management reporting.
Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Oracle.
Strong understanding of IFRS and auditing principles.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Soft Skills :
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Professional demeanor and adaptability in a client-facing role.
