Assistant Director of Engineering – Luxury Resort, Saudi Arabia As the Assistant Director of Engineering, you will support the Director of Engineering in overseeing the resort's maintenance and engineering operations. This role involves supervising the engineering team, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all building systems, and coordinating maintenance and repair work. You will also play a part in upholding the resort's appearance and functionality, contributing to a positive guest and staff experience. Responsibilities

Work under the guidance of the Director of Engineering, helping to plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance and engineering activities Supervise engineering team members, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance and service requests Maintain and troubleshoot building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, and fire / life safety equipment Oversee contractors and third-party vendors to ensure compliance with project scope, quality standards, timelines, and budget Monitor and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and engineering related capital projects. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures Support the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategies for facility improvements and sustainability initiatives Develop and maintain engineering procedures, service logs, and maintenance documentation to ensure operational continuity Collaborate with other departments to support guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives Ideal Candidate

Bachelor’s Degree preferred Minimum of 4 years of experience in building systems maintenance or engineering In-depth knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire / life safety systems Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices and the ability to develop and manage maintenance programs Familiarity with local building codes, OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and safety standards Proficient in building management systems (BMS), CMMS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other industry-related tools Salary package :
