Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Provide medical and surgical care for patients admitted under the assigned department.
- Ensure timely reporting and handling of all medico-legal cases in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical and academic activities, including training sessions and departmental meetings.
- Contribute to patient and family education regarding healthy lifestyles, and support community awareness on health-related matters.
- Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to duty schedules.
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Obtain informed consent from patients before undertaking diagnostic procedures, operations, or tests.
- Support and participate in patient-centered care initiatives.
- Provide orientation, bedside teaching, and supervision for interns, residents, and fellows as assigned.
- Engage in continuous self-development and contribute to the training and educational programs of the department.
- Deliver patient care with compassion, dignity, and respect.
- Perform other tasks and duties aligned with professional knowledge, skills, and responsibilities.
Requirements
Education / Professional QualificationGraduate of a recognized Medical School.
Completion of internship and residency training.Postgraduate qualification in the relevant specialty.ExperienceMinimum of three (3) years’ experience in the specialty after obtaining postgraduate qualifications, preferably in a tertiary care hospital.
Subspecialty degree or structured training is an advantage.Licensing / Certification / TrainingMembership, Fellowship, or Board Certification in the respective specialty.
Valid professional license from the country of origin, eligible for recognition by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the Ministry of Health.#J-18808-Ljbffr
